Assemble a pet emergency kit ...
Whether
you are away from home for a week or only one day, you will
need centain essential supplies. Since your pet disaster kit
should be ready to take at a moments notice, keep these supplies
in an accessible place. They should also be stored in sturdy

trash containers, or plastic storage boxes).

container). Also include dosage and care instructions.

may have to stay in the carrier for hours at a time while
you have taken shelter away from home.

and properly fitted leashes, harnesses and collars to restrain
each pet.

include pet(s) ownership, registration, photos, and health
papers.

an average day).
